Customer Reviews: Average Rating:

Rating : - Why Jillian why!!
So I tried Jillian Anderson's Fitness Ultimatum 2009 for Wii. I really wanted it to be good, but here's what I experienced:

-It's not user friendly like Wii Fit. It was hard to figure out how to jog using the balance board, you have to shift your back heels in sync with your arms. This is definately a step down than even running in place on Wii Fit. Many of the other activities, monkey bars, log jumping, also take a while to get used to, as the speed of the demo avatar is going VERY fast.

- Half the game is getting Fitness Tips from Jillian Anderson. This might be valuable info for hardcore Jillian fans, but all the tips seemed common sense and lacked incentive for progressing through the game.

- Four modes: Weight Loss, Strength training, Hill climbing, and Intervals. So, to give you an idea of how they spread the events: Hill climbing is dodging punching bags. Strength Training is monkey bars (waving your arms above you). Kind of strange how they classify events!

-Multiplayer: This was a little more fun, however, the person who had never played before couldn't grasp the controls, so the more experienced person won, regardless if they were less fit.

-Overall: Anticipating this game for months, my expectations were much too high as a replacement for Wii Fit. This game might get a few more plays, but I'd just as soon get a more effective real workout.

Why Jillian!! This could have been great, but it feels rushed.
